Tuesday has been wet so far in the tri-state area, with more rain and storms on the way, according to the National Weather Service.

'Mild risk' of severe weather in Evansville, Henderson areas
On Tuesday, the Storm Prediction Center placed the tri-state area in a “slight risk” area for severe weather potential.
Forecasters said the main concerns were damaging wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour, heavy rain, flash flooding and frequent lightning.
This was no surprise to anyone looking out in the Tri-State starting around 7 a.m. as a string of rain and thunderstorms moved southward into the area.
More storms are coming late Tuesday into Tuesday night.
When is the threat of severe weather highest in the Tri-State?
The National Weather Service said the storms are expected to occur primarily between 3 and 11 p.m.
A flash flood warning is in effect for Evansville and Henderson until Wednesday morning.
Thunderstorms could produce heavy rain, causing flash flooding Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
