EAST HAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Wednesday night’s storms caused considerable damage in Hampshire County.
A portion of Davis Street in East Hampton is closed due to downed power lines in the community. A large tree branch got stuck on some power lines along Loudville Road, and a few blocks away, Eversource was working to resolve a similar situation where a tree limb got stuck in a utility line.
In South Hadley, multiple roads were closed due to downed power lines and trees. Several neighborhoods were without power.
South Hadley Electric Light crews are clearing a large tree in the area that is causing outages to the following streets:
- Part of East Street
- Miller Avenue
- hadley village
- Brook Street
- park street
- cedar ridge
- West Garden Avenue
