In a horrific incident, a member of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's Yuvjana Shramika Ruthu Congress Party (YSRCP) was killed on Wednesday. He was stabbed to death by a Telugu Desham Party (TDP) worker on a busy street in Parnadu district.
The deceased, identified as Sheikh Rashid, a member of the youth wing of the YSRCP, was stabbed multiple times and his hands were chopped off.

The party also shared the video of the gruesome crime on its official Konda YSRCP youth wing leader Rashid was brutally attacked with a knife. Rashid died while undergoing treatment in the hospital. The party further appealed to President Drupadi Murmu to take note of the law and order situation in the state.
According to the preliminary investigation by the police, the motive for the crime has no political connection and shows personal differences.
After the incident, the police implemented a strict ban in Venukonda town where the incident occurred. The police also assured that any attempt to incite riots or disturb the peace will face severe consequences.
