(AccurateWeather) — A front moves into the Carolinas Thursday, bringing with it more heat and abundant moisture, producing several downpours and severe storms. The situation will continue into the weekend and early next week as the border snakes through the region.
However, some afternoon rain and additional clouds will at least keep the temperatures in check! We are taking a break from the dangerously high temperatures of the past few days. Yes, it's still hot and humid, but by early next week, high temperatures will be mainly in the mid to upper 80s.
The best time to do anything outdoors over the next few days is in the morning and early afternoon…before any storms hit!
tonight: Separate shower, possible storms. Low 72.
Friday: Scattered showers and storms. High 88.
