Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue until 6pm. Isolated heavy rain, lightning and strong winds will be the main threats.

Tonight: Light thunderstorms are possible into the evening, with skies clearing later. Valley low temperatures will drop to around 89 degrees, with west winds reaching 10 mph.
Your 7 Days: Next, high pressure will move west, bringing very, very hot temperatures back into the forecast. A heat warning will be issued along the Colorado River Valley (Lake Mead to Laughlin) from 10:00 a.m. Friday to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, with temperatures reaching 112-118 degrees. Heat warnings have been expanded for Saturday and Sunday in Southern Nevada, including Las Vegas, to 110-115 degrees from 10:00 a.m. Saturday to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, Death Valley It will be over 120 degrees. With high pressure overhead and record high temperatures expected this weekend, we will see some of the hottest temperatures of this forecast period. Moisture along with the heat will also keep the chance of showers and storms throughout the weekend.
Storm activity will intensify further early next week with another surge in moisture, making unsettled weather more likely on Monday and Tuesday. There is a chance of light showers at least next Thursday.
After seven days, it looks like high temperatures will drop to 107-109 degrees next Friday and Saturday.
