according to a news18 Police refused to take the injured to hospital in a Hoysala vehicle, despite onlookers urging them to act quickly, Kannada reported. Eventually, local residents took the injured man to a private hospital.
The injured has been identified as Rahul, a resident of Srinagar. The accident occurred when he was on his way home from visiting friends when the vehicle hit a hump and lost control. Rahul is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Sheshadripuram and is reportedly recovering.
