Roseland Waterpark, a popular amusement park in upstate New York, announced it will reopen Friday after being closed for three days due to tornadoes and storms that hit it on Monday.
The park said visitors can take advantage of a special promotional discount of $9 off the regular admission price to thank the community for their patience. Tickets will be on sale Friday at a discounted price of $27.95.
“This offer is a token of our gratitude and an opportunity for everyone to re-experience the fun and relaxation that Roseland Water Park is known for,” the park said in a statement.
The park closure was announced on Facebook earlier this week. A damaged power line structure on Eastern Boulevard in Canandaigua, New York, blocked the park's main entrance, preventing visitors from entering, park officials said.
