CNN — More than 1,000 U.S. flights have been canceled for a third straight day as airlines struggle to recover from the impact of a global technology outage that left thousands of passengers stranded at airports. As of early Sunday afternoon, more than 1,200 flights in and out of the United States had been canceled, while more than 5,000 U.S. flights were delayed, according to tracking website FlightAware.com.
