Additional thunderstorm complexes will approach from the northwest.
Austin Chaney, chief meteorologist at Storm Center 7, said the storm is expected to weaken, but damaging winds are possible in the northwest Miami Valley.
The overnight storm threat is expected to arrive after 2 a.m. to 3 a.m.
Chaney said there could still be a chance of showers at dawn.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy with a few afternoon storms, with highs in the upper 80s.
