According to the Oman Maritime Security Center (MSC), which is run by the Omani Defense Ministry, the cause of the capsizing has not yet been determined.
In a statement on Tuesday (July 16), MSC identified the vessel as the Prestige Falcon and said there were 16 crew members on board. As the search continues, they added, “the ship's crew remains missing.”
