LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVY) – Moderate to upper clouds will cover the sky again today. Despite the clouds, we'll see enough sunshine and southwesterly winds this afternoon to push temperatures into the mid-80s. There is a chance of locally heavy downpours this afternoon and evening. Clouds will remain above us tonight; isolated showers and thunderstorms are still possible as the cold front approaches. By Thursday morning, lows were in the 60s and 70s.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the day as Thursday's cold front moves through the area. Some storms may produce locally heavy rain. Prices will return to the highs in the 80s tomorrow. Any remaining downpours will subside Thursday night as the cold front sinks south. Friday morning will be mostly cloudy with temperatures dropping into the 60s.
Saturday looks dry and hot, with more showers and thunderstorms possible Sunday into Monday.
